This was my fastest marathon to date, a PR! Everything I trained for finely reached a pinnacle this beautiful day. I was lucky this time as they had very bad winds the year before. I ran this event spur-of-the-moment and I am so glad I did as this was a well run small marathon and beautiful and flat as a pancake except for a few bridges you needed to run up steps to.
I had such a bad day at Bellingham day 3 weeks earlier with bad winds and hills, so I decided to try Tri-Cities since I had not ran a flat course in six years. I'm so glad I did as this race was a first class event and well worth running as it was a beautiful course.
